Do you provide a delivery and collection service?
We do provide a delivery and collection service, more information can be found under the ‘Delivery’ in the main menu.
  How do I pay?
Payment can be made by credit or debit card over the phone. Cheques or bankers drafts are accepted but funds must be cleared before the mobility products are dispatched. Weekly payments can be done via standing order or by card, which will be billed each week of your rental term.
Do I need to insure the products?
All products should be covered by your household insurance, please check your household insurance policy. Should this not be the case insurance can be obtained for a nominal sum from various insurers.
Am I responsible for maintenance of the equipment?
We will take care of all normal wear and tear but you will be responsible for misuse under our terms of business.
What happens if the equipment breaks down or the scooter has a puncture?
Contact our 24 hour Mobility Rental Assistance helpline and we will endeavour to solve your problem.
Can I take the equipment on holiday or abroad?
Providing all insurance criteria have been met we have no problems with you taking our products overseas, if problems with our products occur whilst away they must be returned to the UK (at your cost) for them to be resolved.
Will I be instructed in the use of the equipment?
Before the equipment is left with you, you will be instructed in its use to ensure that you are totally confident in its operation.
I need a ramp for scooter access to my home, can you provide this?
Yes, ramps are available to rent as an optional extra. Simply select that ramp in the rental options page
Will I be able to drive the scooter before the delivery person leaves?
Subject to your delivery choice, yes, you will be able to test drive the scooter on the road once our consultant is happy you have mastered its operation. For more information, click 'Delivery' in the main menu.
Will the scooter fit in a car?
A selection of our scooters are meant for this very purpose, they disassemble into a few lightweight parts and are selected on their portability.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
There is a fully refundable deposit to pay on all electric mobility products (typically £199). These are extremely expensive bits of equipment and we find that the deposit wards away those who have the temptation of theft.
Do I need a licence to drive a scooter?
As the law stands at present you do not need a licence.
  Can I extend the rental?
Yes, but at present you must do this over the phone. Please call the representative in your area. For more information click the ‘Contact’ button in the main menu.
Will I need an additional battery?
In normal local use if you recharge your battery as explained every evening you should not need another battery.
How often do I need to recharge the batteries?
  Every evening should be enough.
Do I have to sign anything?
Yes, when your product(s) are delivered you will be asked to sign a rental agreement.
